How the day runs

What you can do

Back recommendations with photos and measurements

Price only the work that needs customer approval

Keep declined work available for a later reminder

One inspection method across the team

Build templates for routine services, tyres, brakes or pre-purchase checks. The same checks appear in the same order on every applicable job.

Send findings to the service desk

Technicians record the fault. Advisors decide the wording and price. Approved findings become job tasks without copying notes between systems.

A record worth returning to

Inspection findings, media, quote decisions and the completed work remain linked to the vehicle history.

Turn an inspection finding into a clear customer decision

An inspection report is useful when the customer can see what was checked, understand the recommendation and decide on the proposed work. Follow a finding through the handover.

  1. Capture the condition beside the vehicle

While clocked onto the assigned job, the technician opens the inspection on a tablet. They mark the checklist, add a photo and describe what they found. Measurements and a plain explanation give the service desk evidence to work from.

  2. Review and price the recommendation

The service team reviews the findings and prepares the proposed repair lines. Send the inspection report and the quote approval link so the customer can understand the condition and the cost before deciding.

  3. Carry the decision into the job

The customer uses the secure link and emailed verification code to review the quote. Approved findings become job tasks; declined work remains recorded. The team can return to the inspection and decisions when the vehicle visits again.

A condition report and an approval do different jobs

A photo explains a finding. The quote records the work and price the customer is being asked to approve. Check the recorded decision before beginning additional repairs, including when only some quote lines are approved.
